Energy Transition and Net-zero Carbon Emissions
In response to Taichung City's coal-free city policy, Cheng Lung's Houli plant has launched a boiler upgrade project, completely transforming its existing coal-fired equipment into biomass boilers. This will improve steam production and power generation efficiency, achieving the dual goals of energy conservation and carbon reduction. Upon completion, the new equipment is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 80,000 tons annually, injecting new momentum into the city's sustainable development.
This project, executed by PECL, further solidifies our professional standing in the field of green energy engineering and lays the foundation for future cooperation on its Tayuan plant's cogeneration project. PECL will continue to leverage its professionalism and proven track record to drive Taiwan's energy transition, and the vision of net-zero carbon emissions.
