PECL joined our client, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and TECO Intelligence Energy Business Group, EPC contractor, for the groundbreaking ceremony of the 500MW Fengmiao Offshore Wind Farm Onshore Substation.
PECL has played a crucial role in this endeavor, overseeing the comprehensive planning and design of both CSA and MEPF engineering services. Our design includes a 220kV to 161kV power system and the interconnection scheme with Taipower's Zhongqing Substation. Additionally, PECL is the EPC contractor for Civil, Structural and Architectural works.
One of the notable highlights of this project is that it will be the first offshore wind farm onshore substation in Taiwan to feature community-friendly facilities. We have innovatively integrated public spaces, making green energy infrastructure more accessible to the community.

During the ceremony, government and industry representatives highly praised our design achievements and expressed their anticipation that, upon completion, this substation will become a regional landmark, offering both energy solutions and public value.
With the official groundbreaking, PECL will fully commit to advancing the project as the EPC contractor. We are confident that this endeavor will mark a significant milestone in Taiwan's green energy development.
