Bechtel/PECL sponsored BCCTaipei Social Enterprise Award – promoting Corporate Sustainability

Social enterprise applies commercial strategies to achieve social objectives instead of relying solely on charity or donations, it addresses social problems through sustainable, market-based mechanism
The British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCTaipei) held the “9th Annual BCCTaipei Better Business Awards" ceremony on September 17, 2025. One of the awards presented is the “ Social Enterprise Award” which was co-sponsored by Bechtel and PECL. After two and a half months of preparation, Bechtel/PECL showcased the concept of corporate social responsibility with a promotional video and confirmed the selection standards for this award.
Three finalists were finally chosen after strict screening. The recognition of these hardworking companies illustrates how "social innovation" and "sustainable practices" can make a real impact in Taiwan.
