AI is transforming industries at an unprecedented pace, lowering barriers and unlocking new opportunities. On March 8, 2025, the PECL team proudly supported International Women’s Day by attending an inspiring event hosted by CAREhER, alongside Bechtel M&T President, Catherine Hunt Ryan, and Regional President Ann-Marie Padgett. Bechtel was one of the sponsors of the event which brought women leaders in the industry together from US, Dubai, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong to explore the intersection of AI and its impact on various fields, and cross market insights with an emphasis on the role of women in shaping the future of technology and leadership.
This event’s theme was: “AI & She – Transforming Lives, Innovating, and Shaping Sustainable Futures”. Distinguished speakers from leading tech companies and industry giants, including Bechtel Group, Micron Technology, GE Vernova, NVIDIA, Google and Databricks shared their insights on a variety of topics. These ranged from advancements in AI-driven hardware and innovative technologies to AI applications in mapping and navigation, as well as the role of AI in optimizing supply chains to ensure predictable outcomes throughout the construction process.
The event also emphasized the vital role of women’s leadership in AI, sparking discussions on innovation, ethics, and inclusion. Through these enlightening sessions, we gained a deeper understanding of how AI is reshaping industries spanning art, sustainability, leadership, and community development.
