In response to concerns over carbon emissions and air quality, the Taichung Power Plant is steadily replacing its coal-fired units with natural gas combined cycle generators.
PECL is participating in this effort.
PECL's scope of service for the Power Plant and Jetty includes study reports, preliminary engineering, EPC tender & BOP package preparation and bid evaluation. It also includes detailed designs for the Jetty and BOP buildings, as well as permit applications, vendor document review, consultation & coordination for field support during construction and observation of field performance test.
