PECL participates in US's first commercial scale IGCC
The first commercial scale Integrated Gasification Combined-Cycle (IGCC) plant in the United States, the 613MW "Synthgas" unit at Duke Energy Indiana's Edwardsport Power Station generates fewer emissions and pollutants than conventional coal. PECL supported Bechtel in the detailed design and provided engineering services for Civil, structural, Electrical, Control system, and Plant design & Piping.
