PECL supports TPC for Maanshan Betterment
PECL is providing technical service for the 2020 upgrading project at Maanshan NPP. The work scope includes the evaluation and design work for the plant DCR (Design Change Request), MMR(Minor Modification Request), the enhancement of the ESEP (Expedited Seismic Evaluation Process) and Fukushima retrofit, as well as an update of the original drawings per DCN (Drawing Change Notice) and other upgrades. PECL is bringing not only its own expertise but is also drawing on its parent, Bechtel, for technical support as per request. Originally scheduled for completion in late-2020, Covid-19-related delays will extend it into 2021.
