BIM tools enable collaboration and coordination with Formosa
PECL is one of the Taiwan's leading experts in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and its application on EPC projects, which is why Formosa Plastics Group chose PECL for a major upgrade to its RenWu Plant. For this revamping project, PECL's scope is to help building the BIM model for design coordination and construction logistics support.
BIM offers cross-functional, collaborative procedures and tools that enable PECL professionals to virtually design, procure, schedule, construct, commission, and hand over projects to the customer. The use of BIM processes and other advanced technologies, including 3D visualizations, enabled better project coordination and collaboration with stakeholders, more efficient workflows, and improved project outcomes.
