Broadening Taipei's MRT network
The Songshan (Green) Line of the Taipei MRT runs north from the Banqiao-Nangang (or Bannan) Line's Ximen Station to cross the city heading east along Nanjing East Road and ending at Taiwan Railways Songshan Station in the east.
The 8.5-kilometer-long line encompasses seven underground stations.Transfer to the Nangang-Banqiao line (Blue), Tamsui-Xinyi line (Red), Zhonghe-Xinlu line (Orange), and Wenhu line (Brown) can be made at Ximen, Zhongshan, Songjiang Nanjing, and Nanjing Fuxing stations, respectively. The entire line began service on November 15, 2014.
Songshan Line (Green) was divided into 3 design lot: DG166, DG167 and DG168. PECL had performed the detail design of structure and MEPF for the underground stations and cut-and-cover tunnel of DG166. DG166 start from the east side of Ximen station to east side of Songjiang Station, which include 3 underground stations, 2,228M bore tunnel and 163M cut-and-cover tunnel.
