PECL's expertise helps modernize Kaohsiung mass transit
The Kaohsiung MRT Orange Line was inaugurated on September 14, 2008, just in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The 13.8-kilometer line has 13 underground stations, 1 above ground station and 1 depot complex, starting at Chung Shan University Station, and ending at Da Liao Depot Station. PECL provided full detail design for 2 U/G stations and 3.9 Km bore tunnels, including E/M equipment procurement and construction support services.
