Visited our TSMC STRP and got to participate in the “tool box” talk and visit the site with our customer. The project represents TSMC’s support of the Government’s policy to have industries move towards a circular economy where resources are used in a more sustainable way. TSMC has a robust ESG policy and is committed to green manufacturing. The STRP uses the spent solvent from the chip fabrication process to produce steam for TSMC suppliers to manufacture advance materials that are used by TSMC in its production of chips.
Great to hear customer feedback they are happy with our progress, especially with our ES&H performance. The team has completed the piling work and the admin bldg. basement lean concrete placement, and is installing anchor bolts and the grounding system so the foundation and slab work can be completed. WB Chui (PECL PM&VP) and his team are hard at it to keep the project on track.
