PECL Chairman, Wayne Chin, Co-Chair of the AmCham Infrastructure and Engineering Committee, attended the 2020 AmCham Taipei Annual General Meeting where President Tsai was the keynote speaker. President Tsai gave an upbeat speech about the Taiwan economy which experienced a 3% growth rate in the 3rd quarter that coincides with the AmCham Business Climate Surveythat had 71% of the member companies indicating increased optimism on the Taiwan economic outlook in the next 3 years. President Tsai spoke about several areas of major investments, including announcement by Google and Microsoft to make further Taiwan investments in the digital infrastructure including data centers. PECL has been fortunate to deliver Google's first 3 datacenters on its Charter campus. PECL Chairman Chin and representative from Amazon, Facebook, Google and Microsoft shared a picture with President Tsai and AIT Director Christensen and AmCham Chairman CW Chin.
