Based on previous projects involving blast furnace ironmaking and converter steelmaking workshops at Dragon Steel Corporation, PECL collaborated with European equipment suppliers to provide engineering design for two blast furnace (BF) and converter (BOF) plants. Services included comprehensive detailed engineering planning, design, and on-site support. As a result, PECL has established a long-term partnership with both China Steel Corporation (the parent company of Dragon Steel) and Dragon Steel Corporation itself.
The detailed design services for the overhaul of Dragon Steel No. 1 Blast Furnace encompassed the initial construction, including the design and planning of the ironmaking workshop (not limited to Furnace No. 1).
