An excerpt written by Chairman Chou Nan-shan in a special magazine issue reads "Among this year's winning projects, there were many impressive cases. One that caught all my senses was the newly constructed Kaohsiung Railway Station which won the Sustainable Achievement Award. It features stunning designs for its canopy, main hall, and rooftop garden. It incorporates elements of function, landscape, carbon reduction, ecology, culture, and creativity, all encompassing sustainable engineering."
The success of this project relies on the tireless, day-and-night dedication and persistence of all colleagues who participated in its achievements, passing the baton from one to the next. Finally, the overall design of the Kaohsiung Train Station has come to fruition, not only creating a New Landmark for Kaohsiung City but also setting a New Benchmark for railway station design, which is of extraordinary significance and a major milestone for the company.
