Bringing a Facility from Vision to Reality A number of steps are involved in translating design specifications into material delivered to the job-site, ready for construction use. Our sophisticated Procurement Tracking System (PTS) precisely monitors the progress of material requirements. The system effectively tracks material through engineer design specifications to vendor sourcing, bid evaluations and placement of orders, expediting, inspection, shipment and reception. The system is constantly being updated, providing immediate status on all commitments. PTS is a critical part of our overall control program in meeting customers' budgets and schedules. Contracting is another major function of this department. Engineering designs and documents are assembled into bid packages based on design release progress, construction schedule requirements and contractors' capacities to ensure that contracting plans meet the fast tracking mode of project operation.
